Occupation : animator, author and illustrator.
Characters : Ariel - Beast - Aladdin - Pocahontas - John Silver - Tarzan - Rapunzel.
He’s one of the best animators in Disney and worldwide, was one of the first animators to bring Disney into the Renaissances and getting it out of the Dark Ages, also he’s one of the most famous Disney animators and one of the group sometimes referred to as the “Nine New Men”, His impacts on Disney and the movies he was in is undeniable, as he’s the one of the main reasons the movies succeed, his fave feature in animation are the eyes. he left Disney on March 23, 2012.

I remember Glen Keane saying he based this off of an experience with himself and his highschool football coach. When he was crying after losing a game really hard, and the coach gave him a Kamina-esque “BELIEVE IN ME WHO BELIEVES IN YOU” speech.

And then young! Glen Keane cried a lot.

This damn beautiful steampunk space pirate coming-of-age adventure movie, man.

one of my all time favorite scenes from this movie. Not only is it a beautifully animated film but it has so many incredible messages. I can’t tell you how many times I watched this as a kid when I was feeling like shit and needed a boost. Hell I still watch it as an adult for that purpose.
